Dab Tools
Dabbers or “dab tool” are used to handle concentrates. Some of the concentrates out there are a bit on the sticky side, so the user doesn’t want to get it on their hands. This also helps with putting the concentrate in the bucket since the bucket is so hot just before smoking. The user can then use the end of the dabber to move the concentrate around the bucket to warmer spots and keep the concentrate vaporizing.
Some dab tools are actually multi purpose tools. One end of the tool has a point, and that is used to pick up the concentrate, then on the other is a flat spot or “paddle”. The purpose for this side is to cover the bucket while using the rig then the paddle is pulled off and the user gets a more concentrated hit. This is much like the carb on a handpipe.
Another item called a bubble cap could be considered a "dab tool" because it helps enhance the users smoking experience
